Mesothelioma UK has recently strengthened its Operations Team with the recruitment of two new roles, both based at its Leicester HQ.
Samantha Morgan joins as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for overseeing the charity’s research audit work and engaging with the new Research Centre in Sheffield (due to launch in November 2020). Samantha will be focused on the funded research projects and disseminating and communicating the information gained from these studies with Meso UK’s stakeholders and policymakers.
Her background is in project and quality management in the local NHS, looking at patient safety, service re-design and more, working with consultants and GPs.
Hazel Curtis is Meso UK’s new Finance Assistant, working with the charity’s Finance Manager on banking checks and the Donorfy payment system. Hazel brings expertise in revenue and capital, budget setting, year-end monitoring, treasury management and insurance, following 24 years’ experience in local government finance with various local authorities in Leicestershire.
