Mesothelioma UK is dedicated to supporting mesothelioma patients across the UK through a network of clinical nurse specialists.

Our goals are outlined in our Nursing Strategy. All of our nurses are based in NHS organisations throughout the UK which ensures they are embedded into patient care while working to develop mesothelioma services on a wider scale.

In England, we aim to provide an expert nursing voice in each Cancer Alliance, as well as provide more than one nurse within large alliances, or those with a high patient volume.

We are funders of the Scottish Mesothelioma Network. We proudly collaborate with the Scottish Mesothelioma Network to fund clinical nurse specialists in Scotland.

Project Wales launched in 2020 with the aim of creating an MDT and a network of mesothelioma clinical nurse specialists in Wales.

Project Northern Ireland is working to establish dedicated mesothelioma nursing posts for the first time.
