BBC Radio 4 Appeal 2026
Raising awareness to ensure no one faces mesothelioma alone
On the week of 30 August, we’re honoured to be sharing a personal story of someone affected by mesothelioma and raising vital awareness on a national platform.
Our appeal presenter, Carolyn Quinn (pictured above), is unfortunately no stranger to mesothelioma. As a proud Ambassador for Mesothelioma UK, she has experienced first-hand the devastating impact of this disease through the loss of a parent. She’ll be sharing the personal story of Martin (pictured right) and how our charity and supporters can help those impacted.
We hope you’ll tune in and help to spread the word about our appeal. It’s a brilliant opportunity to raise vital funds for our mesothelioma clinical nurse specialists who work tirelessly to support those diagnosed and their families.
Together, we can raise vital awareness and ensure no one faces mesothelioma alone.
Support those affected by mesothelioma and tune in to BBC Radio 4 on Sunday 30 August (07.54am and 21.25pm) and Thursday 3 September (15.27pm)
