Walking the Camino for Diana Reynolds

Shauna Reynolds

Shauna’s mum, Diana Reynolds, passed away in October 2017 from peritoneal mesothelioma.

Shauna decided to walk The Camino, a 700km cross country trek from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, in memory of her mum.

She completed the trip in 24 days and was absolutely thrilled regarding the amount raised: £2,672.25 through JustGiving.

People were so encouraging and generous!

Shauna said, “The trip was phenomenal, at times physically demanding but most enjoyable. Walking the Camino is something we talked about at home and I know my mother would be very proud, often a little robin would keep me company along The Way.  Following a yellow arrow or a shell symbol across a country is a pretty mad thing to do but incredibly liberating and one of the best things I’ve ever done!”
