*SUSPENDED* Working with Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to offer mesothelioma research grants

Mesothelioma UK is delighted to announce two new mesothelioma research grant opportunities.

Mesothelioma UK is committed to supporting research into all aspects of treatment and care related to mesothelioma. The charity is now collaborating with The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (RCLCF) to make funding available for mesothelioma research.

The new grants are available through RCLCF which recently announced a call to support innovative research into lung cancer.

The two grants will support innovative research into mesothelioma cancer in the areas of patient experience and palliative care/symptom control.

For Patient Experience studies
Applicants from professionals, such as nurses and allied healthcare professionals who are either involved in the patient experience of mesothelioma or have experience of conducting research into patient experience which can be applied to this group of patients. This grant will not exceed 12 months duration and a maximum of £25,000 may be applied for.

Palliative care/symptom control studies
Applicants from professionals who have a specific clinical interest in palliative care/symptom control of patients with mesothelioma. This grant will not exceed 24 months duration and will not exceed £50,000 per annum.

Applications should be made via the RCLCF website.
