Mesothelioma UK has joined Healthinote, an online digital platform allowing doctors, nurses and pharmacists to find and share reliable health information with their patients. Used by over 3,000 GP practices in the UK, Heathinote enables people to be given an ‘information prescription’ following their consultation.
Joelle Kirby, Senior Editorial Officer at Mesothelioma UK said “This will make it easier for clinicians to signpost patients and carers to specialist mesothelioma information. As a rarer cancer, people with mesothelioma can feel isolated. Knowing there is a dedicated charity with expert information and support soon after diagnosis can make a huge difference.”
