Mesothelioma UK at the Armed Forces Day 2018

On Saturday 30th June – Mesothelioma UK will be holding a stand at the Portsmouth Armed Forces Day event from 10am to 4pm.

Come and speak to the Mesothelioma UK team on Armed Forces Day 2018 and join Portsmouth in celebrating serving armed forces personnel, reserves, veterans and cadets at this free event.

There will be a range of interactive displays and stands including a climbing wall, military vehicles, a Lynx helicopter, Type 45 photo booth, a model of HMS Queen Elizabeth, an anti-tank display, large military vehicles that children can explore as well as children’s rides, inflatables and face painting.

There will be performances from the Band of HM Royal Marines, the REME Army parachute display team, the Fort Cumberland Guard and the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir, as well as hovercrafts, a parade and lots more. The event, sponsored by BAE Systems, runs from 10am to 4pm.

A free shuttle bus will run regularly between Southsea Common and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard during the event.
