Ladies’ Lunch 2019

To coincide with International Women’s Day, Mesothelioma UK is hosting a fundraising Ladies’ Lunch at the Manchester Macdonald Hotel.

Friday 8th March, 2019 at 12.30pm

A three course lunch for £25 per person, in aid of Mesothelioma UK. There will also be a charity auction for a 3 or 4 night break at a luxury, award-winning cottage in Cornwall.

The event will also mark the launch of the GEM study (Gendered Experiences of Mesothelioma) which will look at the specific experiences of women diagnosed with mesothelioma. It is believed that women have a different experience to men in terms of awareness of the disease, diagnosis, and access to treatment and legal processes. The study will explore the different experiences to identify the implications for health, social care and legal practices. Email us if you would like to know more about the study, or might be interested in taking part.
