The MORE (Mesothelioma Outcomes, Research and Experience) Survey commenced at the beginning of January 2019 and follows the previous Mesothelioma UK patient and carer survey undertaken in 2012.
So many developments in treatment and care have occurred since then and Mesothelioma UK is inviting mesothelioma patients to have the opportunity to describe what their experience of investigations, treatment and care have really been.
The survey will enable us to inform healthcare providers what is being done well, what could be improved and hopefully, where there are variations in treatment and care to be addressed. It will also assist Mesothelioma UK to develop its services to complement those of the NHS.
Mesothelioma UK will make recommendations representing the patient experience and circulate these to the wider mesothelioma community and healthcare providers.
We hope to receive 600 responses before completion of the survey in June 2019. Currently we have received in excess of 160 and our nurses are working very hard to make sure that all patients are aware of the survey.

Your Mesothelioma Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide you with a unique patient identifier that you need to record in the survey.
