Donation received from RS Oncology

RS Oncology, a clinical stage biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the US, donated to Mesothelioma UK to support the charity’s Clinical Nurse Specialist team.

Liz Darlison, CEO of Mesothelioma UK added: “Our network of over 30 Clinical Nurse Specialists work across NHS Trusts throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Their work is vital to the care and treatment of mesothelioma patients. In challenging times this amazing donation really will help the charity’s clinical nurse specialist team continue to provide their very much needed support and care.”

Jarrett Duncan, CEO of RS Oncology said: “We are pleased to support the tremendous efforts of the entire Mesothelioma UK network including the tireless work of its nursing staff throughout the UK. We are hopeful that the novel therapies currently being developed through clinical trials will provide benefits to those diagnosed with mesothelioma, a rare and terrible disease.”

Details on current clinical trials for the treatment of patients with malignant pleural effusion and mesothelioma are available on the mesothelioma clinical trials app, a clinical trial finder for mesothelioma trials in the UK. The app is free to use and can be downloaded from The App Store and Google Play by searching for ‘Mesothelioma UK’.
