Healthcare company supports Mesothelioma UK with donation of £3,000

Church Pharmacy, a healthcare company specialising in medical aesthetics and clinic supplies has donated £3,000 to Mesothelioma UK. The donation is part of the company’s charity initiative, Church Pharmacy Cares, and will help to support Mesothelioma UK’s core services for patients including a network clinical nurse specialists, funding research and providing patients with access to new clinical trials.

Mesothelioma is a type of lung cancer primarily caused by exposure to asbestos and affects approximately 2,700 people in the UK each year. Mesothelioma UK relies on donations, grants and fundraisers to deliver its services supporting patients and families around the country.

It is a very important charity that offers vital support to people affected by asbestos-related cancer. The team of friendly and caring staff help to provide information, support and education, and to improve care and treatment for all UK mesothelioma patients and their carers.
