Mesothelioma UK’s CEO, Liz Darlison, has been confirmed as a speaker at the European Asbestos Forum Conference (EAF). The event will take place from 10-11 November in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, where she will deliver a talk entitled, Establishing a National Support Service for Mesothelioma Victims, on 11 November at 1.05pm (CET) (12.05pm GMT). Liz is part of the lineup of speakers for Session A, which will focus on asbestos and its impact on society, while the concurrent Session B theme will revolve around asbestos and professional perspectives.

The conference is a key event for specialists around the world to come together to learn and share details and updates on scientific progress and innovations around asbestos. The event is run by the European Asbestos Forum Foundation, which aims to improve international relations and knowledge regarding all matters related to health and safety, with a focus on asbestos.

Liz commented: “I am looking forward to the opportunity to share our insights and perspectives on asbestos at the European Asbestos Forum Conference. This will help to raise awareness of the charity’s work, while also offering a way to get up-to-date on the latest developments, learn from others, network with them and use these collectively, as a goal for the prevention of the disease. We’re proud to be recognised as internationally-renowned experts in mesothelioma and the patient experience.”
