2020 Mesothelioma UK – Supporting our Armed Forces project and MIMES research virtual update

In 2020 Mesothelioma UK Invited Military personnel, veterans and their families affected by Mesothelioma to join our virtual conference to hear from Mesothelioma UK CNS nurses.

This virtual conference allowed patients to hear the background and Insight Into Mesothelioma UK’s support In the Armed Forces Project, an update on the MiMES research presented by Professor Angela Tod, the future of how Mesothelioma UK will support the Armed Forces and the future of addressing key recommendations, Airtight on asbestos and asbestos smart with charity CEO Liz Darlison and closing comments from Dr Jonathan Leach OBE the associate medical director for the Armed Forces and Veterans health.
