Introducing the new Health Companion portal

Working in collaboration with DaSH-Global, a real-world research company specialising in healthcare, we have developed a new digital patient app known as the ‘Health Companion’. The new system will allow patients to submit data regarding their quality of life and experiences in the management of mesothelioma as well as any costs associated with the condition.

Patients will be able to take greater control in managing their mesothelioma with the capability to record, monitor and communicate healthcare information and improve the interaction and outcomes they have with healthcare services.

The data collected from the Health Companion will provide evidence to support better targeting of services whilst enhancing nurse-patient communications.  Health Companion managers will also be available to support the patients directly or via communications with the clinical nurse.

Details on the new app can be found at

For more information on how you can get involved, contact the Health Companion Managers by email at or you can call 0116 218 5718.
