20 for 20

20 for 20. One voice for rare cancers

Mesothelioma UK and 19 other charities representing rare and less common cancers have joined forces once again in a major fundraising campaign, 20 for 20.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of rare and less common cancers, encourage people with symptoms to seek help early, empower patients in their treatment journey, and highlight the need for research into better treatments.

In its second year, the 20 for 20 campaign sees the 20 charities encourage their supporters to take on a challenge activity for 20 days, based on the number 20.

The challenge runs from Monday 20 September until Monday 20 December 2021 and participants can do any challenge or activity based on the number 20 across 20 consecutive days, whether that’s running 20 minutes a day, baking 20 cakes, or doing 20 burpees every morning.

The choice is yours! Find out more at www.20for20.org.uk where you can also sign up to support us.

If you would like to speak to the fundraising team, please call 0800 169 2409 and select option 2.

“The charities behind the 20 for 20 campaign are a vital support for many patient and carers so we really want to raise as much awareness as possible, encourage people to have some fun with it, and raise some money for their chosen charity.

The beauty of the campaign is that people can choose their own challenge – it doesn’t matter what the activity is, as long as it gets people thinking about these 20 rare and less common cancers.”
