British Lung Foundation patient survey on clinical trials

The British Lung Foundation (BLF) is conducting a survey for people with mesothelioma. The aim of the survey is to collect patients’ views about participating in clinical trials. In particular, the BLF would like to find out what, if any, are the barriers for people wanting to take part in clinical trials.

The survey is very short, it will take 5-10 minutes to fill in and is completely anonymous. You will need to set aside time to do the survey all in one go and it must be completed by patients, not carers.

The results will be analysed and shared with the British Lung Foundation, mesothelioma researchers and patient support groups to see what can be done to encourage more people to take part in clinical trials. Hopefully, by increasing trial uptake, the outcomes for people living with mesothelioma will be improved.

Please submit your views via the survey link by 5pm on Tuesday 11 July 2017.
