It is a group aiming to share information on local asbestos issues, ways to spread asbestos awareness throughout the local community, current clinical trials and ways to access them and generally offering support and advice to those newly diagnosed and going through treatment through to surviving relatives. There is also the opportunity to participate in fundraising events and the group is very active in this respect.
