Sally McGuirk and Adams 'Reach for the Sky'

Adam,  Sally's brother-in-law is very kindly doing a 'Sky Dive' to raise money for Mesothelioma UK, this has come about because Linda, Sally's mum has recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma. Sally and Daz had just had their first baby Rosie and it seemed everything was perfect for once in their lives until 6 months later and Linda started to feel unwell and within weeks she had been diagnosed with mesothelioma and told she had just a few short months to live. She was told there is no chance of survival and would not be here to see Rosie grow up. Sally, her brother Neil and family were devastated, it felt like the end of the world would be better. So now their brave Mom Linda is fighting so she can stay with her family who love her so very very much and who they are immensly proud of. Sally says,"The aim of this Sky Dive is to help other people so they can keep their loved ones with them as long as possible". Keep fighting Mom we love you with all our hearts. If you would like to donate and support Adam's Sky Dive please click on the link to their Just Giving page.

The David Law Firms, Team of 12

Jonathan Taylor from the David Law Firm, kindly contacted the Charitable Trust back in November with a pledge to climb Ben Nevis in support of the charity.  He did mention that his colleagues may want to join in, however not necessarily by climbing Ben Nevis but to be the climbers supporters and fundraising team. The team has now grown to a huge 12 and they are all in training for their individual jobs, whether it be climbing, holding water bottles, wiping sweaty brows, raising awareness or even just cheering them on, they are all ready and waiting to go! All they need to do is just decide on a suitable date so watch this space for an update if you would like to support Team 12. A Team 12 update: The team have decided upon a date to tackle this huge task and it is going to happen on Sunday 27th May 2012...There are 10 members of their UK office who will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis to raise funds in support of the Charitable Trust. If you would like to show your support then please click on the link here and pledge your donation.

Serena Moody and her friend Kelly

Serena and Kelly are embarking on probably one of the biggest challenges they will ever face, climbing Kilimanjaro.
They have been moved to do this huge challenge because Kelly's husband has recently been diagnosed with Mesothelioma. Having seen the devastating effects that mesothelioma has had on theirs and others lives they both would like to raise awareness about this disease whilst raising funds for the charity. If you would like to help Serena and Kelly in their quest please click on the link to their Just Giving Page and pledge your support.
